The Steward Leadership Course provides participants with the tools and techniques needed to prepare them for the role of Steward at the work site. Participants learn what a steward does, the knowledge and information required to do the steward’s job, and common problems and situations that the steward may have to address, including job site grievances, health and safety issues, and substance abuse and drug testing. The Steward Leadership Course transforms the classroom into a learning environment that fosters self-direction, builds on experiences, meets specific needs and allows opportunities to apply concepts to actual situations.
